Osteoarthritis (OA) is the number one cause of musculoskeletal disability in the world. OA directly contributes to countless additional problems including decreased quality of life, increased cardiovascular risk factors as well as medication-related health issues. The great news is that health professionals that understand how to appropriately identify, assess and create evidence-based programs are the front-line defense to appropriately addressing these issues. Additionally, being able to provide evidence-based approaches can provide real solutions to the tens of millions of individuals with osteoarthritis-related joint, muscle, and health issues as well as associated decreases in functional capacity. In this interactive workshop/lecture, health professionals will discover real-world strategies for delivering the most appropriate assessments and designing corrective and functional exercises to address posture-related-joint and muscle issues, reduce pain, and improve performance.
